Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry at Community Christian Church of Marana is geared toward helping children know Jesus, learn the Bible, and serve others. With the Bible as the foundation for teaching, we offer:

Sunday Care and Classes

 

• During 9:00 am worship                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          – child care for children up through Kindergarten.                                                                                                                                                                                                   – for kids who remain in the sanctuary for worship, activity bags with Bible-based and fun items for use during worship and to take home.

 

• During 10:30 am worship                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         – child care for kids up to the time they turn 3 years old                                                                                                                                                                                         – a preschool class for age 3 thru Kindergarten                                                                                                                                                                                                         – an elementary class for kids in grades 1-6 (6th graders may choose to go into Youth Ministry – for information regarding our Youth Ministry please click here)                   – for kids who remain in the sanctuary for worship, activity bags with Bible-based and fun items for use during worship and to take home

 

• A weekly Children’s Bulletin,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     included in the activity bags, also is sent by email to those on our email list. • A series of Classes, led by the Pastor,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       is regularly held for kids in grades 4-6, to help them make a profession of faith and prepare them for baptism if they so choose. Please contact Pastor Dave if your child(ren) would be interested in this.

 

• Camp.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           This year we attended camp at UCYC (United Christian Youth Camp). It is the plan to continue with this program.
